3.75 Inch Fairy Waif
with two free face molds scaled for
this sized doll
|

Make tiny little Fairy and
Garden Waifs for
indoor and outdoor gardens.
Make 4 inch polymer clay
dolls
using a push mold and polymer clay.
This push mold is also geared
for beginners with polymer clay.
The doll comes out of the
mold in three units;
a head-torso-legs unit and two
separate arms.
At first blush to a beginner, it
looks like the dolls that are formed
in one unit are "easier"
than the ones that mold in pieces. No so.
It is easier to
work with the head-torso-legs in one unit,
pose the doll into position,
then smooth and perfect the hands, tentatively pose them
and then attach
right before you are ready to fire.
The dolls are easier to handle for beginners in units.
Once you become a pro (after about 5 to 10 dolls) you then will be able
to
use the full doll units with no problems.
This mold comes with my online
tutorial
that teaches your basic push mold skills and leads you through the
process of
making a push mold doll. Once you learn the process
you will be sculpting your own dolls in no time fast.

This shows the progression of the doll creation.
As you can see, posing
the doll in parts and sections is easier for beginners.

This sized doll is also good to
add to porcelain trinkets for display
in antique and consignment shops.
